In the faculty of engineering，t he subjects of mechanics take special and important position for the students who learn in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. Students have to understand stress problems which occurred in the soil foundation，and how the safety of the structure is depending on the appropriate receiving and distribution of the stress from the upper structure. However，m any students lack the motivation to filly understand the complicated phenomena of soil mechanics. Therefore，w e developed and introduced as oil laboratory model，which is able to produce similar phenomena of soil mechanics. This paper introduces new approach for developing the ability and the skills of the students for better and comprehensive understanding of soil mechanics |
