We analyzed the time variation of the acceleration component az_ perpendicular to a desktop surface under the assumption that the acceleration components due to roll, pitch, and spin are sufficiently smaller than the gravitational acceleration. As a result, signs of self-induced jumping could be observed although a clear jumping could not be detected.
