A series of textbooks on basic physics has been published in our Institute. A group of staffs responsible for the physics education of freshmen has edited and revised these textbooks which are used for lectures, exercises and student experiments for basic physics. In order to notify the character of each textbook, the concept for editing has been described in series for the respective ones. This report is the second one. The textbook used for the lecture in basic physics entitled “Mechanics Basic to Engineering” is presented. The hints for future revisions are offered to make the textbook more useful to the physics education in our Institute. |
