This paper describes a method of making the involute gear for primary schoolchildren. In the industrial course of the university, the students learn the gear creation. But, all students may not understand the principle of the gear generation. The reason is because movement of the rack cutter and the gear material is complicated. Therefore in this study, we developed a method that even primary schoolchildren could understand the principle. And using this present method, the primary schoolchildren can easily produce a gear. This method was applied to primary schoolchildren, then it was confirmed that they could produce a gear easily. |
