Z-type non-compression braced plane frames show one-directional horizontal deformation characteristics. Anti-symmetric Z-type non-compression braced space frames consisting of the non-compression-braces arranged in a same rotational direction possess high-level seismic capability and high degree of freedom of brace arrangement in seismic design.
