Tackling the six following issues is necessary for the maintenance and development of private schools： 1）effective advertising. 2） to teach students to be able to apply knowledge and technology. 3） to acquire the cooperation of faculty and administrative staff member （ASM）. 4） to have accountability and transparency regarding the income and expenses of the colleges and universities. 5） to make plans that contain specific goals to achieve. 6） sound and sufficient management. These are managed by the ASM of colleges and universities, except for #2. So, faculties and ASM must work together to run the colleges and universities effectively. Plus, recent management of colleges and universities demand ASM to understand the fundamental content of current education or research due to recent college and university business, applications for subsidies etc., which require the consideration by ASM. |
