Recently, the introduction of wind turbine generator is made active in the world, in order to tackle the warming of the earth and the exhaustion of fossil fuels. In this paper, a new independent source system by consisting of wind turbine generator, diesel engine generator, electric water heater, and alternating power control device is proposed. The characteristics of this system are as follows: The brushless three-phase synchronous induction generator with two stators developed by authors is used as a wind turbine generator of this system, and then it is possible to make increase the generated energy. Moreover, the surplus power can be supplied to an electric water heater and the hot water can be utilized to hot-water supply system and air conditioning system. In this paper, the composition and operation of the proposed independent source system are described, and the experimental results by a proto-type system are shown. The possibility whether this system operates well or not is examined. |
