Here, investigation is carried out on the efforts exerted regarding environment preservation in Korea. As to the state of providing the legal system related to environment preservation, the materialization of the organs related to environment preservation and their history, and the environmental standards for the atmosphere and water quality, the arrangement has been carried out. 1) As to the materialization and the state of providing of the laws related to environment in Korea, arrangement was carried out by making the chronological table c1assified by periods and the system chart. Also the purposes of instituting individual laws have been put in order. 2) The materialization of the organs concerning the environment preservation in the country and the history of these organs have been arranged. 3) From the law on atmospheric environment preservation and the law on water quality environment preservation, the atmospheric environment standard and the water quality environment standard were arranged and introduced. |
