We make a three phase induction motor with two stators (the inside revolving stator，the outside stator) and a squirrel cage rotor as shown in the Fig. 1. The variable speed of the rotor of this motor results from the interaction between the speed of revolving field on the inside stator and the speed of the inside stator. Therefore，the speed control can be obtained by varying the speed of the inside revolving stator. In this paper，we discuss the comparison of the experimental results with the calculated results which are calculated from the equivalent circuit of Fig. 3. The calculated value of the out put power agrees partly with the experimental value. |
