| 内容記述 | In this report the author evaluates her freshman seminar that was given in the first semester for the freshmen of the Department of Health Science. The aims of her seminar were to make her students learn the scientific methodology (the scientific thinking) through actual experiences on the miracles of the sense of human taste using taste-modifying substances such as the Gymnema sylvestre tea and the miracle fruits. It has been revealed that, in order for the students to realize the scientific thinking, a thorough disclosure of the thinking process on a step-by-step basis followed by their own practices on the carefully-selected subjects with intended variations is one of the keys to fruitful outcomes. | |||||||||||
