Safety management of the students who are studying in a seminar of production engineering is described in this paper. Undergraduate students who are studying in the above seminar very often operate machine tools, cutting tools or many measuring instruments. They also sometimes have the experience of welding, heat treatment or other operation in high temperature environment. Although the students are well instructed and trained in the lectures of Shop Practice in their second year at college, they are easy to forget many important matters to keep the safety. This report shows some specific important examples of safety management when they study in the experimental room of production engineering seminar. |
