To produce the traveling wave in the ring as the sound source, two standing waves\nexcited both spatially and temporally orthogonal to each other should be superimposed in the ring\nusing two or more transducers. However, excitation of the ideal distribution of the standing wave\nwith multiple transducers, identical to the natural vibration mode of the ring, is difficult.
