マリー・ド・フランスの『イゾペ』 Marie de France's Isopet 酒見, 紀成 サケミ, キセイ Sakemi, Kisei fable Aesop morality Marie de France Caxton application/pdf Marie de France is said to be the first woman poet in French literature. The purpose of this paper is to examine what sort of person Marie de France was and what her Isopet written in Anglo-Norman was like. This examination is based on a study of the morals she gave to each story in the Isopet. Despite her claim that she translated it from English, it seems to me to have been translated from Latin, but she freely altered the “characters” and morals in the fables.
