          <dc:description>A way to apply a measuring method for determining the size distribution of liquid particles, published in previous papers， to liquid particles with high velocities at nozzle outlet is discussed. The measured diameters of droplets varying according to the velocities of droplets colliding with the electrode of a probe were compared to values from a theoretical equation based on a deformation model of a droplet obtained from a photograph. The reliability of the theoretical result was verified by an experiment making droplets collide with a spherical electrode attached to a disk rotating at high speed. As a result of the consideration, the requirements for a measuring circuit which would make possible measuring droplet size distribution without the use of collision velocities became clear.</dc:description>
