We adopted the seminar assignment method, in which the teachers in charge put the students in each seminar with due regard to the balances of 3 elements: the major ranks of students, the fixed numbers of seminars and few involuntary students. These problems are solved using Genetic Algorithms but it took many hours. This time I have got the good results in a short while by using Hopfield Nets.
